Spermicides
Spermicidal foams, gels, suppositories, and film all kill sperm and are 98% effective at pregnancy prevention if used with a condom. They are inserted into the vagina before intercourse, and do not protect against HIV or STDs. No prescription is needed so they can be purchased at any drug store. Directions for use are found on the package. Spermicides may occasionally cause allergic reactions.
