HiTOPS offers a variety of programs and seminars for teens, parents and teachers – all designed by health educators and clinicians who specialize in helping young people make responsible decisions.
Parents learn strategies for talking with their children or teens about health and sexual issues. Parents are guided on how to tackle a variety of issues within their own value system. Learn about HiTOPS’ programs for Parents and Guardians.
Youth learn factual information, risk-education strategies and skills for decision-making. Adult-facilitated peer-led programs address challenging teen issues – sexual health, homophobia, HIV/AIDS, relationships, dating, bullying and communication with peers and parents – and promote responsible decision-making, respect and communication. Professionals participate in in-service workshops and gain new skills to help youth make decisions that protect their health. All workshops meet with New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and are approved by the New Jersey Department of Education. Learn about HiTOPS’ programs for Educators and School Administrators.
