Consultation and Technical Assistance

HiTOPS is a recognized expert in clinical and educational approaches to promoting adolescent health. As such, we provide consultation and technical assistance to other health care providers, community-based organizations, public and private schools, and public health organizations. Some examples of our work include:

  • Training, consultation, and technical assistance to schools and other community-based organizations for implementation of peer-to-peer health education programs
  • Workshops in adolescent development and sex education for public health staff working with adolescent populations
  • Consultation for implementation of “teen friendly” and accessible clinical care
  • Consultation and training in sexuality education for administration and staff working with incarcerated youth
  • Training regarding school equity and inclusion for LGBQ students
  • Consultation and training for stating and maintaining a Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA).
