Sex Education & Support For All Youth

LGBTQ+ Youth Groups

We believe that all young people have the right to be safe, affirmed, and supported.

HiTOPS groups create a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth to meet, socialize, offer and provide support, and participate in educational activities regarding healthy relationships, gender and sexuality, and more! We offer three distinct weekly support groups for young people of varying ages and identities: TConnect,  First & Third, and Banner (Middle School).

Applications are now open for Youth Support Groups for the 2024-2025 Program Year! To participate in groups, you will need to fill out an application and schedule a meeting with one of our support group staff so we can get to know each other and make sure you are joining the right group. Groups start the week of September 9.

LGBTQ+ Groups Weekly Schedule

Groups meet weekly, September through April, at HiTOPS AND virtually on Zoom.

Banner
Mondays – 5pm – 6pm (Zoom Only)
A social support group for middle schoolers who are interested in learning more about the queer community, making friends, and having fun.

TConnect
Tuesdays – 4:30 – 6pm (In Person and on Zoom)
A social support group for trans, nonbinary, genderfluid, and gender expansive teens 14-18 yrs who want a place to meet up and talk to other teens navigating their gender identity and expression. When you join, you’ll also be added to TConnect’s ongoing Discord chat.

First & Third
Wednesdays – 4:30pm – 6pm (In Person and on Zoom)
A social support group where LGBTQ+ teens 14-18 yrs old can make friends, participate in fun activities, and get advice from peers about navigating high school as a queer teen. When you join, you’ll also be added to First & Third’s ongoing Discord chat.
