Princeton Community Pride Picnic

Celebrate Princeton’s LGBTQIA+ community with music, art activities and neighborhood nonprofits at this family-friendly event.
You’re invited to gather in the Princeton Family YMCA’s expansive field to enjoy tunes from DJ Linda Leigh, co-create a collaborative community mural, take part in a variety of activities, and go home with fun giveaways.
Families are welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn, and local food trucks and vendors will be there to add tasty treats to your dinner! Confirmed Food Vendors include Tico’s Juice Truck, the bent spoon, and Milk and Cookies.
📢 HiTOPS will also be collecting clothes for THE CLOSET, a free resource that provides access to identity-affirming clothing, shoes, toiletries, and self-care items. We need:
- New/gently used androgynous and men’s sizes medium – 3 XL: shorts, t-shirts, pants, jeans, swimwear, hoodies, button down shirts, jackets and shoes and sneakers sized 8 and up.
- New underwear – Men’s boxer briefs size medium – 3XL and Boyshort style women’s sized small – 3XL.
- Gently Used/New – Binders. If purchasing NEW – please buy from www.gc2b.co – Sizes Medium – 5XL.
- We are not accepting women’s clothing or shoes at this time.
This free event is a community collaboration coordinated by HiTOPS, Princeton Public Library, Princeton Family YMCA, Arts Council of Princeton, Princeton Civil Rights Commission, Corner House Behavioral Health and McCarter Theatre Center.
The Princeton Community Pride Picnic will follow current COVID-19 safety protocols.
