Are you ready to be part of something amazing? Our annual Trans Youth Forum (TYF) is the only event of its kind, designed by and for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive young people. This is your chance to celebrate, connect, learn, and find support in a vibrant community.
What is the HiTOPS Trans Youth Advisory Board (TYAB)? Becoming a youth leader on the HiTOPS Trans Youth Advisory Board means joining a dynamic group of trans, nonbinary, and GNC youth (ages 11-24) dedicated to making a difference. You’ll develop leadership skills, promote mutual understanding, and create positive change in your community.
What Do TYAB youth leaders Do?
- Engage in forums, conferences, and leadership opportunities, both in-person and virtually.
- Participate in outreach, volunteering, and mentoring with HiTOPS staff.
- Communicate your ideas, views, and opinions effectively.
- Inspire and connect with other young people.
- Support and amplify the voices of LGBTQIA+ youth.
- Connect with trans icons and community members who uplift and support trans youth.
Your Commitment
As a TYAB youth leader, you’ll hold this position from November-July. You’re required to participate in the Trans Youth Forum and virtual meetings held with our Youth Leadership & Resources Manager.
