Education Manager
Adolescent sexual health education and support organization seeks an energetic, organized, creative, problem-solver for full-time Education Manager position.
Primary Responsibilities:
Developing and delivering affirming, sex-positive, gender-inclusive, research-based sex education curricula; collaborating on program development, design, and expansion.
Experiences and Skills:
Alignment with the HiTOPS mission; demonstrated commitment to the tenants of affirming sex education and support, youth development, and public health; experience working with youth, including queer youth and youth of color; understanding of intersectionality.
Qualifications:
– Minimum of three years of experience facilitating sex education programs with middle and high school-aged youth.
– Demonstrated experience and skills developing curricula and writing lesson plans.
– A deep knowledge base in the most current research on sexual health education methods and modalities, sexual health content, classroom management, and facilitation.
– Thrive in fast-paced environment, energetic, organized, creative, flexible, resourceful, and adaptable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in public health, education, sexuality, gender studies, or related degree required; Master degree preferred.
